What is the Tambasasayama World Expo?
Tambasasayama City has many world-class resources. Local festivals, traditional events, and the initiatives and events of various organizations are complemented by nature and food that can be enjoyed in each of the four seasons, such as the cherry blossom road, fireflies, morning mist, mountain ranges with autumn leaves, black soybeans, onaegiku, botan nabe, etc., the castle and inn towns that can be enjoyed year-round, Tamba pottery making experiences, and visits to craft galleries.
We want people to continue to live in the attractive city of Tambasasayama with pride and attachment, we want to attract tourists on a sustainable basis, and we want to further enhance the city's brand power. With this in mind, we will hold the "Tambasasayama World Expo: Heritage and Future-the beauty of Japan" with the participation of all citizens of Tambasasayama so that many people, both domestic and international, can learn about these wonderful resources and initiatives in the wake of the "Osaka-Kansai Expo" to be held in 2025.

During the event period, more than 15 information centers and event venues will be set up throughout the city, allowing visitors to experience the charms of Tambasasayama City.
