Takahashi Masaru Memorial Museum & Miyake Kenryu Art Museum
Our facility includes the Takahashi Masaru Memorial Museum on the first floor, which showcases items used by Masaru Takahashi (1926–2023) throughout his student life (including textbooks from the Army Preparatory School and Aviation Officer School), daily life, and agriculture, spanning from the late Edo period to the Showa and Heisei eras, as well as memoirs of his experiences in Siberian internment. The second floor houses the Miyake Kenryu Art Museum, featuring selected works by Kenryu Miyake (real name: Sakae, 1917–2016), a calligrapher who received the Prime Minister’s Award and Sasayama City Honorary Citizen Award in 2005.
