Through the restoration and utilization of traditional houses and vacant homes, we are involved in revitalizing community hubs and cultural or geographic areas (lands). By valuing shared regional assets and creating new value (works) in this space, both residents and visiting travelers contribute to fostering an autonomous and democratic local economy and civil society. To support this vision, we focus on providing housing for newcomers, training artisans skilled in traditional house restoration, and promoting the charm of Sasayama to international audiences, particularly by engaging younger generations.
