Aoyama Shrine Festival
This festival honors the ancestors of the Aoyama family, the former feudal lords of the Sasayama Domain.
During the main event, a procession marches to Kasuga Shrine.
Elementary school children parade through the town to the sound of drums and conch shells.
- Date: Saturday, April 5 & Sunday, April 6
- Venue: Aoyama Shrine (1-1 Kitashimmachi, Tambasasayama City)
- Admission: Free
