Since the completion of the utility pole undergrounding project in 2022 (Reiwa 4), the Kasuga Shrine Autumn Festival Hoko Float Parade, held every fall, has been able to realize the "Hoko Float Parade with two floats, Sankozan and Hououzan, along Kawaramachi Street" starting from 2023 (Reiwa 5). It took several years to restore and repair the hoko floats, but thanks to the cooperation of all participants, the elegant hoko float parade was revived after a decade. Moving forward, we hope to pass on this tradition to the next generation of community members, share it with a wide audience, and make it a point of pride for Sasayama.

Event Date: October 19, 2024 (Saturday), from 9:00 AM

Location: Parade along Kawaramachi Street in Tambasasayama City (Visitors can follow behind the hoko float. Note: Assembly work can also be observed in front of the Hoko Hall starting around 8:00 AM).

Participation: Currently, only observation is possible, and arrangements for active participation are not yet in place. We are considering options for future participation and guidance for attendees.
